DiviFlash offers a Layout import option that simplifies the process of importing layouts. You can achieve this by clicking on the “Import Layout” button. The Freelancer Layout for Divi is a layout created by team Diviflash. In this article, we will provide you with a comprehensive guide on how to use this layout. Let’s begin:
Step 01: Download the layout’s zip file and unzip it.
Step 2: Install and activate the Divi Theme.
Step 3: Install and activate the DiviFlash Plugin.
Step 4: To ensure the proper functioning of the layout, kindly utilize the following Diviflash modules. Required modules for this Layout are below:
- Advanced Heading
- Advanced Blurb
- Image Reveal
- Testimonial Carousel
- Advanced List
- Timeline
- Advanced Menu
- Dual Button
- Logo Carousel
- Flip Box
- CPT Grid
- Tilt Card
- Star Rating
- Advanced Tabs
Note: These modules must have been activated before importing the layout.
Step 05: After entering all the DiviFlash Modules, install and activate the Advanced Custom Fields plugin.
Step 06: After installing the plugin, import the ‘ACF – Freelancer Layout – DiviFlash’ file.
- Hover over the ACF from the WP dashboard.
- Click on the tool.
- Under the Import choose the ‘ACF – Freelancer Layout – DiviFlash’.
- Finally, click the ‘Import JSON’ button to import the file.
Step 07: Now, we will import the Media file for the layout. Navigate through the following steps in the WordPress dashboard:
- Go to Tools > Import
- Click Install Now (WordPress)
- Click on the Run Importer
- Import the “Media – Freelancer Layout – DiviFlash” file
- Select the current user.
- Check the “Download an import file attachments”.
- Finally, click ‘Submit’.
Step 08: We will import the Project file for the layout by following the same procedure described above.
Step 09: We will import DiviFlash’s Dashboard Settings once media and project files are imported.
- Click on the DiviFlash from the WP Dashboard.
- Then Settings.
- Import/Export.
- Choose the ‘DiviFlash Dashboard – Freelancer Layout – DiviFlash’ file.
- Finally, click on the ‘Import Settings’ button to import the Dashboard settings.
Step 10: Import the “Popup – Freelancer Layout – DiviFlash” file. To import this popup file proceed to the following steps:
- Navigate to DF Popups.
- Import & Export
- Choose the “Popup – Freelancer Layout – DiviFlash” file.
- Click the “Import” button.
Step 11: After importing the DF-Popup layout, we need to publish the layout. To do so:
- Go to All Popups.
- Then click the ‘Edit’ from the ‘ Get a quote’ popup.
- Enable the Popup status toggle button.
- Select the “Tigger Type” as “Click”.
- Then click the ‘Publish’ button.
Step 12: After that import the Divi theme options settings. Follow these steps to import the theme option’s JSON file successfully:
- Go to Divi => Theme Options.
- Click on the “Import & Export” icon.
- Select the “Import” tab.
- Choose the JSON file ‘Divi Theme Options Settings – Freelancer Layout – DiviFlash’.
- Finally, click on ‘Import Divi Theme Options’.
Step 13: Now import the Theme Builder settings. To import the Theme Builder Settings, navigate to the following steps:
- Go to Divi => Theme Builder.
- Click on the “Import & Export” icon.
- Select the “Import” tab.
- Choose the JSON file ‘Divi Theme Builder Settings – Freelancer Layout – DiviFlash’.
- Click on ‘Import Divi Builder Templates’.
Step 14: Another setting you need to import is Theme Customizer Settings. To import the Divi Theme Customizer settings follow the following steps:
- Navigate to Divi => Theme Customizer.
- Click on the “Import & Export” icon.
- Select the “Import” tab.
- Choose the JSON file ‘Divi Theme Customizer Settings – Freelancer Layout – DiviFlash’.
- Finally, click on ‘Import Divi Customizer Settings’.
Step 15: Now, let’s proceed with importing all the pages and other library items into the Divi library. You will come across an ‘All In One – Freelancer Layout – DiviFlash’ file, as well as individual page files. In this case, we will import the All In One Layout, which includes all the necessary files in the library item.
To import this file into the Divi library, please follow the steps below:
- Navigate to Divi => Divi Library.
- Locate and click on the “Import & Export” button.
- Within the options that appear, select the “Import” tab.
- Choose the file named “All In One – Freelancer Layout – DiviFlash” from your device.
- Click on the “Import Divi Builder Layouts” button.
