How To Use Car Rental Layout?

To use the Car Rental layout on your site, simply import it using one of the following methods:

• Method 1: Using the DiviFlash layout importer(one-click import)
• Method 2: Manually importing the layout

This guide will help you to use this layout in your preferred method. 

Method 1: Using DiviFlash Layout Importer

DiviFlash lets you import any layout in under half a second with its layout importer feature. Here is how to use it:

Step 1: Install and activate the Divi theme.

Step 2: Install and activate the DiviFlash Plugin.

Step 3: Navigate to the WordPress Dashboard > DiviFlash > Layouts, and search for “Car Rental”. 

Step 4: Now, click on the “Import Layout” button. 

• A popup will appear with settings and server requirements. If everything seems fine, click on “Start Importing”. (If you see any red crosses, adjust your server settings before clicking on the “Start Importing”.) 

• This import process may take a few minutes. 

• After the import is finished, click on “Menu Customize” to customize the menu of the newly added layout. You may follow our Divi Layout Menu Customization guide.  

Step 5: Car Rental layout has a popup in the hero section of the homepage. To display it to the visitors, you need to manually update its ID at the trigger location. 

Here is how to it, 

• Go to WordPress dashboard > DF Popups > All Popups.

• Copy the Popup Target ID

• Now, go to the homepage and enable the visual builder and take your mouse on the “Book A Rental” section. You will see a setting icon. 

• Click on the settings icon and paste the “Popup Target ID” under the “URL”. 

• Save it and your popup should work as expected. 

Step 6: Finally, set the “Home” page and “Blog” page for your site. 

• Go to WordPress Dashboard > Settings> Reading.
• Below “Your homepage displays,” select “A static page.”
• Choose “Home” from the homepage dropdown menu. 
• Choose “Blog” from the post page dropdown menu. 

• Finally, click on “Save Changes” to save it. 

Method 2: Manually Import the Layout

You can also manually import the layout. Here is how to do it:

Step 1: Install and activate the Divi Theme. 

Step 2: Install and activate the DiviFlash Plugin. 

Step 3: Download the Car Rental layout from the DiviFlash website and unzip it. 

Step 4: Install and Activate the “Contact Form 7” plugin.

Step 5: Install and Activate the “Advanced Custom Field” plugin. 

Step 6: Import the “ACF – Car Rental Layout – DiviFlash.Json” file into the ACF plugin. 

• Go to the WordPress Dashboard > ACF > Tools
• Under the “Import” section, click on “Choose File” and select “ACF – Car Rental Layout – diviFlash.Json” file. 

• Now, click on the “Import “JSON”

Step 7: Import the “DiviFlash Dashboard” file into the  DiviFlash dashboard panel: 

• Go to WordPress Dashboard > DiviFlash > Settings > Import/Export

• Click on the “Choose File” and select “DiviFlash Dashboard – Car Rental Layout – DiviFlash.Json”

• Now, click on the “Import Settings” button. 

Step 8: Import the “Divi Theme Options” setting file into the Divi Theme Options panel:

• Go to WordPress Dashboard > Divi > Theme Options
• Select the “Import & Export” icon located right side of your screen. 

• Select the “Import” tab and choose the JSON file name “Divi Theme Options Settings – Car Rental Layout – DiviFlash.Json”

• Now, click on the “Import Divi Theme Options” and after importing the file, click on the “Save Changes” to save it. 

Step 9: Import the “Divi Theme Builder Settings” file into the Divi Theme Builder panel:

• Go to WordPress Dashboard > Divi > Theme Builder
• Click on the “Import & Export” icon on the right side of the screen. 

• Now, select the “Import” and choose the JSON file named “Divi Theme Builder Settings – Car Rental Layout – DiviFlash.Json” 

• Finally, click on the “Import Divi Theme Builder Templates” and after importing the file, press the “Save Changes” button. 

Step 10: Import the “Divi Library” file into the Divi Library panel: 

• Go to WordPress Dashboard > Divi > Divi Library
• Click on the “Import & Export” icon on just right side of the corner

• Choose the “Import” tab and select the JSON file named “All In One – Car Rental Layout – DiviFlash.Json” 

• Lastly, click on the “Import Divi Builder Layouts” 

Step 11: Import the “Theme Customizer settings” file into the Theme Customizer panel: 

• Go to the WordPress Dashboard > Divi > Theme Customizer
• Click on the “Import & Export” on the left side of your screen. 

• Now, select the “Import” and choose the JSON file named “Divi Theme Customizer settings – Car Rental Layout – DiviFlash.Json” 

• Finally, click on the “Import Divi Customizer Settings” button. 

Step 12: Import the Media file for the layout

• Go to WordPress Dashboard > Tools > Import 
• Click on the “Run importer” under the “WordPress” (If you see “Install Now” instead of “Run Importer”, click install.). “Run Importer” will appear then.

• Click on the “Choose File” and import the file named “Media – Car Rental Layout – DiviFlash.xml”, click on the “Upload file and import”

• Assign the author (or you can skip the step). Next, check the “Download and Import File Attachments” and click “submit” to save it. 

• By following the same steps, import the xml files for “posts”, “pages”, “Cars”, and “Contact Form 7”. 

Step 13: Set the “Home” page and “Blog” page for your site by following the steps below:

• Go to WordPress Dashboard > Settings > Reading.
• Below the “Your homepage displays” select “A static page.” 
• Select “Home” from the homepage dropdown menu. 
• Select “Blog” from the “Post Page” dropdown menu. 

• Lastly, click the “Save Changes” to save it. 

Step 14: Import the popup file

• Go to WordPress Dashboard > DF Popups > Import & Export 
• Below the “Import” section, click on “Choose File” and select “Popup – Car Rental Layout – DiviFlash.Json” file. 

• Click the “Import” button. 

Step 15: After importing the DF-Popup, you need to publish it

• Go to WordPress Dashboard > DF Popups > All Popups.
• Click “Edit” under the popup name.

• Click “Publish” and “Update” it.  

• Now, go to WordPress Dashboard > DF Popups > All Popups

• Copy the “Popup Target ID”

• Go to the “Homepage”, enable the visual builder and take your mouse on the “Book A Rental” in the hero section. You will see a settings icon. 

• Click on the settings icon and paste the “Popup Target ID” under the “URL”. 

• Save it and your popup should look as expected. 

Step 16: Add the “Contact Details” in the home page. 

• Go to the “HomePage” and enable the visual builder. 
• Take your mouse on the right side of the “Ask For Vehicle” and click on the settings icon. 

• Under the “Contact Forms” select the “Car Suggestion Form”. 

• Save it and your contact details should be visible now.
