Divi filterable CPT module made by DiviFlash brings some cool features to demonstrate your projects, portfolios, and other custom post types with a filter option. If you already used our CPT Grid module, it would be easier for you to utilize this module. The customization UI and feature hierarchy of the Filterable CPT is almost the same as the CPT Grid module. However, we will explain all the differences and the features added in the module.
As the CPT Grid, the Filterable CPT module features are split into three categories,
+ Content Tab
+ Design Tab
+ Advanced Tab
Child Item
Before jumping into the global features, let me inform you that the number of Child items of the Filterable CPT is similar and brings the same features you get in the CPT Grid module.
Read our documentation on CPT Grid Module here.
Global Feature
The global feature of the Filterabler CPT carries a few differences compared to the CPT Grid module. All the features are divided into three categories like any other divi module,
+ Content Tab
+ Design Tab
+ Advanced Tab
So, let’s point out the differences and discuss them comprehensively.
Filterable CPT Module Content Tab
The Content tab has cool features like CPT Setting, item Outer & Inner Wrapper background, and more to dazzle the module. Let’s dive into the deep of all the features.
CPT Setting
CPT Settings of Filterable CPT has all the features that come with the CPT Grid module. Yet, a few more options are added to the Filterable CPT module to improve the customization.
The CPT Setting of this module lets you create a filtering option based on post categories & tags. So, your visitors get the pleasure of utilizing the filter buttons to view the post types they want. However, you have the flexibility to ignore filtering and show all the custom post types at a time by activating the All Terms option. Finally, a Load more button is available to show countless custom posts.
You must have learned all the other features earlier in the CPT Grid module, so we are not repeating that.
Item Outer Wrapper Background
This feature applies to the child items that were taken outside the inner wrapper. With this feature, you can add a background for the items placed outside the inner wrapper.
Item Inner Wrapper Background
This feature applies to the child items that were taken inside the wrapper. This feature can add a background for the items placed inside the wrapper.
Filterable CPT Module Design Tab
Design tab of the Filterable CPT module carries features similar to the CPT Grid with some variation. So, we will cover all the features only available in the Filterable CPT module (The rest are already described in the CPT Grid Module). Let’s get started.
Filter Button
This feature allows changing the filter button’s background, alignment, gap, and margin padding. Also, it defines the button font, font-weight, style, color, size, letter spacing, and line-height alongside text-shadow effects. You can also modify the button border style, width & color with corner rounding & box-shadow effects.
Active Filter Button
Except for the alignment & gap, all the design elements are available for the Filter Button also placed in the Active Filter Button.
The Load More feature is responsible for adjusting the alignment, background, and padding margin of the Load more button. Also, you can make the button full-width and use an icon for better design. Moreover, this feature defines the load more button font, font-weight, style, color, size, letter spacing, and line-height alongside text-shadow effects. You can also modify the button border style, width & color with corner rounding & box-shadow effects.
Filterable CPT Module Advanced Tab
All the features, functions, and customization facilities of the Filterable CPT’s Advanced Tab are no different than the CPT Grid module.
Hi, is there any chance a future update of the Filterable CPT module will include deep links for the tabs?
Thanks,
Jeremy
Hi Jeremy,
Thank you for your feature request. We will pass it along to our development team for their consideration. They will assess the feasibility of implementing this feature,
and if it is indeed possible, it will be included in future updates.
Regards,
Team DiviFlash.
