In this post, we will show you how to import layouts using the DiviFlash Layout Importer.
Step One: Choose and Import Layout
- Go to your WordPress Dashboard.
- Click on DiviFlash > Layouts.
- Doing so will take you to DiviFlash’s library of premade custom layouts.
- Hover over the layout that caught your eye and you will see two buttons: “Import Layout” and “Live Preview” and two arrows.
- Clicking on the white arrow will take you to the guide for that specific layout and clicking on the green arrow will allow you to download the layout.
- If you want to see how the layout will look on your website, you can click on the “Live Preview” button. When you do, you should see the homepage of the layout. You can also explore the full website by going through all the pages.
- When you have finally decided on a layout, click on the “Import Layout” button and the following window will appear.
- If all the server requirements are met, you can click on the start importing button.
- Once you do, the layout will start importing.
- It may take a few minutes to finish importing and when it does, this window will show up.
This window indicates that you have successfully imported the layout that you wanted.
Step Two: Customize Menu
Now that you have successfully imported the layout, you will have to customize the menu of the layout you just imported.
Once you have finished the menu customization, the layout will be ready to use.
Step Three: Use and Customize the Layout
After the menu customization, all that’s left is to integrate the layout pages into your website. Here’s how-
- Go to your WordPress Dashboard and add a new page.
- Use the Divi Builder.
- Click on browse layouts.
- Go to “Your Saved Layouts” and select the page you want to use.
- Click on “Use This Layout.”
And there you have it! The layout page is ready to be customized and used.
